A newly released study that took a comprehensive look at more than 20 National Heritage Areas across the United States found that the Baltimore National Heritage Area generated more than $534 million in economic impact! The study was completed by the consulting firm of Tripp Umbach and is now available online.

National Heritage Areas are valuable economic contributors to the regions in which they operate. The partnerships they create and facilitate, and the efforts put forth to attract visitors, create economic development, and preserve the culture, history, and assets of their regions truly make a difference in local communities. The Baltimore National Heritage Area generates $534.5 million in economic impact, supports 6,110 jobs, and generates $38.2 million in tax revenue.
