Waterfowl Chesapeake, headquartered in the 1927 Easton National Guard Armory, is a non-profit organization that works to protect waterfowl and their habitats in the Coastal Chesapeake region and supports the annual Waterfowl Festival in Easton. Without preservation expertise, the historic building has started to show signs of its age and is in need of repairs.
Preservation Maryland will work with the organization to address preservation issues that are threatening the long-term stability of the building, including repairing and reprogramming the basement to both ensure its stability and make it a space the organization can utilize.
