The Revitalization Support Center Joins the Nonprofit’s Historic Property Redevelopment Program to Help Preserve Historic Properties in Maryland
Preservation Maryland is pleased to announce the launch of a new service line, The Revitalization Support Center, which will aid with complex tax credit applications, National Register of Historic Places nominations, and project management support for non-profit and for-profit organizations on historic property revitalization projects.
“The Revitalization Support Center is a resource for other organizations that need trusted support on complex preservation projects,” said Nicholas Redding, Preservation Maryland’s president & CEO. “This service will run parallel to our Historic Property Redevelopment Program, which directly funds and manages the revitalization of historic properties, catalyzing investment in the communities in which they reside. Now, in addition to our hands-on redevelopment projects, we will be able to provide a service that will guide the preservation of even more historic assets in Maryland.”
Lisa Jensen, a career preservationist with more than 20 years of experience working with developers, governments, and state and federal agencies, was recently named lead advisor of the program.
