This year’s conference will again be held virtually via Zoom. Registration for this virtual conference is required. Please register by April 30, 2022 at https://cpmbs.org/cpmbs-statewide-conference-annual-meeting/. The Zoom link will be emailed to all registrants shortly before the event. The conference is FREE, though donations are appreciated. This year’s program will include: Annual Meeting, including brief business items and election results “Meeting Unusual Challenges: Friends of Halfway African American Cemetery, Washington County” presented by Elizabeth Paul and Dr. Emilie Amt “The Laurel Cemetery Memorial Project, Baltimore” presented by Isaac Shearn, Ph.D. and Elgin Klugh, Ph.D. Debut of two Coalition preservation videos – Documenting Burials in Your Cemetery (Tina Simmons) – Mapping a Cemetery (Glenn Wallace) Presentation of 2022 Periwinkle Awards Open Forum: Tell your cemetery story, ask questions, network with colleagues, present issues, group discussion.
