Announcing Our 2023 Pop-Up Field Offices

WE’RE COMING TO YOUR COUNTY!

The Preservation Maryland team is again hosting Pop-Up Field Offices throughout the state – one in each county – meeting with individuals who are interested in learning more about historic preservation or asking questions about various programs and funding opportunities. Additionally, ahead of the 250th anniversary of American Independence in 2026, we are looking to capture Marylanders’ stories and history they feel should be elevated in the upcoming commemoration.

Each Pop-Up Field Office will be open from 10a-3p unless otherwise noted.

  • MARCH 16 PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY AT THE ANACOSTIA TRAILS HERITAGE AREA – 4318 GALLATIN ST, HYATTSVILLE, MD 20781

  • MARCH 23 BALTIMORE COUNTY AT THE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF BALTIMORE COUNTY – 9811 VAN BUREN LN, COCKEYSVILLE, MD 21230

  • APRIL 12 TALBOT COUNTY AT THE WATERFOWL FESTIVAL’S ARMORY BUILDING – 40 S. HARRISON STREET, EASTON, MD 21601

  • MAY 4 ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY AT HISTORIC ANNAPOLIS* – HOGSHEAD, 43 PINKNEY ST, ANNAPOLIS, MD 21401

  • JUNE 2 HOWARD COUNTY AT THE HOWARD COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY – HOWARD COUNTY WELCOME CENTER, 8267 MAIN ST, ELLICOTT CITY, MD 21043*

*This Pop-Up Field Office will run from 12p-5p

  • JUNE 8 GARRETT COUNTY AT THE OAKLAND LIBRARY – 6 N 2ND ST EXT, OAKLAND, MD 21550

Preservation Maryland is excited to again connect with Marylanders in every county across the state through our Pop-Up Field Offices. Staff will be prepared to serve as a resource on community preservation issues, discuss grant and tax credit opportunities, and share information about our programming to educate and empower individuals and groups looking to preserve the spaces that are important to their communities.
