Celebrating National Wreaths Across America Day in Maryland

by | Dec 9, 2019

Wreaths Across America started in 1992 when a group of volunteers had a surplus of wreaths after adorning the graves of fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. The movement is now supported by a national non-profit organization that helps organize wreath-laying ceremonies at over 1000 cemeteries including many in Maryland.

Many Maryland cemeteries and sacred places will participate in Wreaths Across America this year on Saturday, December 14, 2019. You can search the organization’s website for specific volunteer events or you can make a donation to sponsor a wreath.
