Maryland’s statewide historic preservation conference will take place onFriday, June 15, 2018 and Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Architecture Building at the University of Maryland campus in College Park, MD. For the first time, the Preservation Maryland Old Line State Summit will precede the Maryland Association of Historic District Commissions‘ annual Symposium and offer an unparalleled professional training opportunity for the preservation community of the Mid-Atlantic.
Ten barns near Wolfsville in Frederick County, Maryland, will be featured during the 12th Annual Barnstormers Tour and Plein Air Paint-Out. This annual self-guided tour calls attention to these beautiful old structures and their importance to our agricultural heritage. The tour provides a rare opportunity to gain access to some of our most scenic and private farm properties. many of the barns will feature old time crafts demonstrations.
