Collectors/restorers-bring your classic car, motorcycle or antique tractor for the show.
Join us for a 1940’s inspired party, celebrating the time of Mr. Paul’s ownership of “The Land of Promise” on which Steppingstone sits! This afternoon event will include live 1940’s style music, lawn games, a catered tea in the Courtyard, an equestrian demonstration, silent auction and more. 1940’s style dress is admired, but not required! Tickets must be pre-purchased.
Ten barns near Wolfsville in Frederick County, Maryland, will be featured during the 12th Annual Barnstormers Tour and Plein Air Paint-Out. This annual self-guided tour calls attention to these beautiful old structures and their importance to our agricultural heritage. The tour provides a rare opportunity to gain access to some of our most scenic and private farm properties. many of the barns will feature old time crafts demonstrations.

On September 17, 1862, 23,000 soldiers became casualties in the first major Confederate attack on the Union during the Civil War. Every year, the National Park Service honors their sacrifice when it illuminates the Battlefield with 23,000 luminaries.
