NTCIC Referral Program
The National Trust Community Investment Corporation (NTCIC) offers a referral program to help market its services and benefit the State and Local Partners of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The NTCIC is a for-profit subsidiary of the National Trust whose primary business is investing in rehabilitation projects that qualify for federal and state historic tax credits and new markets tax credits.
The referral program provides a finder's fee for every historic rehabilitation project referral it receives from a National Trust's Statewide and Local Partner that results in an actual equity investment. Preservation Maryland is a statewide partner and may share up to 50% of the fee with other 501(c)(3) organizations that provide referrals.
By referring potential tax credit projects to NTCIC, you support Preservation Maryland and receive a share of a referral fee for your non-profit organization. If you are a developer with a potential investment opportunity, please contact NTCIC and tell them you learned about this program through Preservation Maryland. For more information about this program, contact Louise Hayman at lhayman@preservationmaryland.org.
