Preservation Maryland is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving Maryland’s rich heritage of buildings, districts and landscapes. A copy of our financial statement is available upon request. Documents and information submitted to the State of Maryland under the Maryland Charitable Solicitation Act are available from the Office of the Secretary of State. 

Preservation Maryland receives no government funding to support its operations but relies on membership and support from individuals, corporations, foundations and other non-profit organizations. Donors are listed in the annual report.

In addition to membership, Preservation Maryland offers opportunities to contribute to the annual fund and sponsorship of the Annual Conference, annual Historic Preservation Awards and Endangered Maryland. Gifts of securities and deferred gifts such as annuities, IRAs or bequests are also welcomed.
