Special Event: Maryland Preservation Planners Meeting

By Preservation Maryland

Preservation Maryland will convene a meeting of Maryland’s preservation planners this May to create a dialogue around challenges and opportunities to shape Maryland’s historic built environment.

Maryland is home to many different types of communities and landscapes—we’re called American in Miniature for a reason! But despite the differences in their jurisdictions, the work of preservation planning has many commonalities.

Maryland’s preservation and planning professionals are invited to share your challenges and your successes. This meeting will also help inform the upcoming process of drafting of a new official statewide preservation planning document for Maryland led by the Maryland Historical Trust.

The voice of the preservation planner is invaluable to crafting the future of preservation.
