With final approval of the Maryland state budget, grant funding for historic preservation will see its first appropriation in nearly a decade.
Preservation Maryland convenes the preservation community and industry of the Mid-Atlantic at their annual conference, the Old Line State Summit.
This year the Summit will be held at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis and will prominently feature the historic resources, sea level rise research and adaptations, and the strong town/gown partnerships of Annapolis – along with sessions on best practices from other historic communities in Maryland and beyond.
Preservation Maryland expects nearly 150 diverse participants, including architects, planners, engineers, conservators, community volunteers, museum professionals, Main Street managers, fundraisers, small business owners, students and many more to attend the Summit.
