The row house cities of the world form a great family of cities on both sides of the Atlantic. Baltimore is part of this family, along with Amsterdam, London, Dublin, Boston, and New York. Learn from speaker Charlie Duff how this kind of city arose, and experience some of the wonderful places that the builders of row house cities—including Baltimore—have created.

 

Discover what happens inside the barrel at a whiskey distillery. Learn about the history of alcohol production, the equipment and production of spirits from local distillery Baltimore Whiskey Company in this interactive presentation.

Join the Maryland Historical Trust’s Maryland Maritime Archaeology Program’s 30th anniversary with a lecture generously supported by World Artists Experiences and the Embassy of Egypt.

Dr. Emad Khalil, Professor of Maritime Archaeology, Alexandria University and Director of the Alexandria Centre for Maritime Archaeology & Underwater Cultural Heritage, will present an overview of the most significant maritime archaeological discoveries in Egypt. This event will be held on 1/30 at 6:30 PM at 100 Community Place in Crownsville.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
