ATTEND THE BEST OF MARYLAND AWARDS

Taking a moment to celebrate the successes of the Maryland preservation community is an important role that Preservation Maryland is honored to play in hosting our Best of Maryland Awards each year during Preservation Month. We’re honored to be able to recognize the work that advances our movement and brings us closer to the collection vision we hold for an historic and healthy Maryland. This year, we’re hosting the Best of Maryland Awards under the vintage neon lights of Glen Echo Park in Montgomery County on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Step right up, and celebrate with the best.

MEET US AT A POP-UP OFFICE

Thanks to the generous support of the Rural Maryland Council, Preservation Maryland will again be hitting the road to set up temporary pop-up offices in rural parts of the state including in Kent, Frederick, Calvert, Wicomico, and Dorchester Counties. Members of the public are encouraged to drop-in to learn more about the work of the organization and to talk to professional staff about questions or concerns they may have about preservation issues in their community. Staff will assist visitors and help connect them to existing resources.

SUPPORT PRESERVATION

Preservation doesn’t just happen in May! Preservation Maryland works year around to protect Maryland history, architecture, and open space. Your donation will be put to good use immediately, including supporting our staff to provide technical assistance around the state at our Six-to-Fix sites and in Ellicott City.
