History of The Rectory
The Rectory, located in the Mt. Vernon Cultural District and near the Baltimore Inner Harbor, is a great choice for your next event. First occupied in 1791, The Rectory was built to be a landmark, a symbol of the hopes of the Episcopal Church, which had been seriously weakened by the end of the Revolutionary War.
It is that late neoclassical period that is reflected in the present, authentic furnishings and décor, creating in the midst of a bustling modern metropolitan area a sense of returning to an earlier, calmer past when gracious entertaining was duly appreciated and cheerfully practiced.
Our facility includes:  - A beautiful entry hallway with a spiral staircase - A small parlor and dining room - A board room - A full kitchen for caterers' use and - A large courtyard
The Rectory of Old St. Paul's Church is an ideal spot for small weddings, receptions, corporate entertainment, holiday parties, and other special occasions.

PARTIES, WEDDINGS AND RECEPTIONS
The Rectory is available for rental on weekdays and weekends. Room use includes the 1st floor (Board Room, Dining Room, Parlor, Kitchen and Courtyard).
Standard rental period - 7 hrs, includes 2-hr set-up, 4-hr guest period & 1 hr clean up. The rental fee includes a host during the event.
 Capacity: We can accommodate the following for a wedding or reception:
House Only:100 standing or 55 seated House and Courtyard with Tent: 150 standing or 55 seated in house, 50 - 80 seated in courtyard
Fees: Evening and Weekend reception (for 51 or more people) $1,000 Evening and Weekend reception (for 50) $800 Daytime (weekday) event $700 Additional time $100 per hour

BUSINESS MEETINGS AND SEMINARS
The Rectory is available for rental both weekdays and weekends. The Board Room is perfect for small meetings or seminars (10-15 people) and the Parlor/Dining Room area is perfect for larger meetings or Seminars. Room use includes the 1st floor (One room or a combination of the following: Board Room, Dining Room, Parlor, and Kitchen).
Standard rental period - 4 hrs. The rental fee includes a host during the event. Tables and chairs are included in rental.
Capacity: We can accommodate the following for a Business Meeting or Seminar: Board Room: 15-20 seated Parlor: 20-25 seated Dining Room: 20 seated
Fees: Daytime, Evening & Weekend Meetings (for 20-30 people) $ 250 Additional time $ 75 per hour

OTHER FACILITY RENTAL INFORMATION
Caterers We have a Preferred List of Caterers for your convenience. Caterers may unload on the parking pad (rear of the house).
Tent Rental If you would like to use a tent in the courtyard contact Loane Bros., Inc. They are very familiar with Preservation Maryland and the type of tent that would be needed - (410) 823-6050.
Chair and Table Rental for Weddings, Parties or Receptions There are two possible options: - If you would like to rent tables and chairs, contact Loane Bros., Inc. - (410) 823-6050. - Many Caterers will also offer Chair and Table rentals.
Parking We do not have parking facilities of our own. Parking on Sundays is usually not a problem; there is adequate parking on the streets and in the nearby lots. If the event is scheduled on other days and you would like guaranteed parking, arrangements can be made with the Central Parking System, the surface lot next door [(410) 539-8369] or with Charles Center Parking, the surface lot across the street [(410) 685-6459] for an additional cost. After 6:00 p.m. during weekdays, additional spaces are available in the small lot behind the Rectory.
Regulations - NO SMOKING in the house. - Nothing may be affixed to the furniture, walls or painted surfaces.
