Outreach

Preservation Maryland's outreach activities range from answering callers' questions to organizing ongoing initiatives designed to strengthen local preservation groups. Through our Colleagues program, Preservation Maryland works with organizations to assess specific needs and to address them through technical assistance, grants, workshops and publications. Preservation Maryland also sponsors the annual Preservation & Revitalization Conference. Issuing the annual Endangered Maryland list promotes the preservation of some of the state's most threatened resources. Additionally, board members and staff are involved with a variety of task forces, committees and partnerships that focus on protecting Maryland's cultural heritage.
